What is Perspectives?

Perspectives helps you find people with relevant knowledge or lived experience, preview their point of view, and start a conversation with their Delphi.

You can search for:

  • A question: “How do I know when it’s time to change careers?”

  • A situation: “My child doesn’t talk to me about things, how can I open the door for communication?”

  • A type of person: “Trainers who focus on healthy habits”

  • A topic or organization: “Relationships”

  • A specific person by name

How to use Perspectives

1Search for what’s on your mind

Enter a person, topic, question, or full situation in the search bar. You do not need to reduce your situation to a few keywords - include the context that matters.

2Review the people Delphi recommends

Results show people whose knowledge or experience is relevant to your search. Use each person’s role, noteworthy experience, and perspective preview to decide who you want to continue the conversation with.

3Start a conversation

Choose a person to open a chat with their Delphi. Your question carries into the conversation, so you can continue from the perspective you were exploring and ask follow-up questions.

Browse when you’re not sure what to search

The Perspectives page also offers several ways to explore:

  • Quick questions: Start with a short, relatable question or statement.

  • Worth knowing: Discover a specific person and a topic they can speak about.

  • Been there: Find people with a relevant role, background, or lived experience.

  • Real situations: Explore detailed scenarios that may resemble your own.

Select any prompt or situation to see matching people. On featured person cards, select the question or chat action to begin a conversation; select elsewhere on the card to flip it and preview the person’s perspective.

Tips for better results

  • Be specific about the decision, challenge, or outcome you’re working through.

  • Include the kind of experience you value, such as “a founder who has built a marketplace.”

  • Add relevant context instead of searching with isolated keywords.

  • Compare more than one perspective before choosing who to speak with.

  • Ask follow-up questions in chat to make the conversation more useful to your situation.
